Welcome to the Sanctuary

My work has centered on holding space for others, journeying alongside people holding grief, navigating transitions, and moving through the work of becoming.

That work, embedded in my soul, has begun to expand.

I have been reflecting on the role our senses play in wellness.

What we carry is not only mental, it is felt, it lives in the body, and it is experienced through the body.

Across cultures and generations, fragrance has accompanied moments of reflection, remembrance, and gathering.

Incense burned in sacred spaces, oils used in ritual and blessing, fragrance marking a space as intentional.

Fragrance has always helped us slow down.

It engages (re)membering, shifts attention, soothes, and returns us to the present moment.

The Sanctuary was created as a space to explore that connection.

A place for reflection, for breath, for pause.

Here, fragrance is not only something we enjoy.

It becomes a companion to grounding, possibility, exploration, connection, and the gentle recognition of what is sacred.

Our Foundation

Over the coming weeks, we will move through five values that guide Spirit Fragrances:

Honor

Imagination

Ancestry

Community

Divinity

What to Expect

When shared, there will be two offerings.

A reflection, grounded in thought and understanding

A meditation, rooted in reflection and fragrance

Paired together, they offer a more embodied experience.

Begin With a Moment

If you have a candle, incense, or fragrance nearby, light it now or take in the fragrance.

Let it enter the room slowly.

Take a breath in, hold gently, release.

Again.

Notice the space around you, notice your body.

This is where the practice begins.

I’m grateful you’re here.

We will move through this together, one breath and one fragrance at a time.

Divine Scents. Inhale the Spirit.

I love this. Sleep activates the memory so this is a great way to use our senses to benefit our wellbeing. Sign me up!
